MEA Bio

Dedicated to Change

MEA started with the idea that Alabama Montessori Teachers and School Leaders needed an organization to be able to connect with each other from all over the state.

Our Goals:

  1. Provide an alliance for Montessorians in the state of Alabama.

  2. Support a community of Guides and Heads of Schools through regional committees and offer statewide Montessori professional development opportunities.

  3. Uphold the authenticity of the Montessori Philosophy and Methods.

  4. Advocate the growth of Montessori education for all demographics in Alabama regardless of enrollment size, location or socioeconomic diversity.
